“In the Land of the Sibylants” présentera une introduction à la nouvelle pratique créative de Swoon, qui consiste en un récit fantastique mêlant autobiographie et fiction, stop motion, scénographie et installation immersive, marionnettes à échelle humaine et acteurs réels. L’exposition dévoilera le monde des sœurs Sibylants, Caelum et Elly, et leur histoire.

Galerie LJ is delighted to inaugurate its new premises in the 13th district of Paris, with a new solo exhibition by Caledonia “Swoon” Curry, from September 6 to October 5, 2024.
“In the Land of the Sibylants” will present an introduction to Swoon’s newly expanded creative practice, consisting of an expansive fantastical narrative which mixes autobiography and fiction, stop motion, set design & immersive installation, human scale puppets and real actors. The exhibition will unveil the world of the Sibylants sisters, Caelum and Elly and their story.
